A creator who did not take the human pledge is undeclared — never "a machine made this".

Who holds the power here?

Creator's share, who controls access, audit right, term length, cost to leave, and what the other side may do with the work.

The one next action, how long it takes, whether it can be undone, and what it forecloses if you wait.

Urgency requires a named trigger. Without one it is a Watch item, not an Urgent one.

The refusal principle

NO RECORD — refused is a first-class result on this site, rendered like any other answer. A refusal is a correct answer, not a failure. The unconfirmed BRAVE catalog entry below is a genuine refusal: no BRAVE book title was confirmed in the public sources reviewed, so the engine says so instead of quietly filling the gap.

No model is called. Nothing you type is concatenated into a query — the panel below shows the parameterised fragment and the bound values.

Absence is not zero

This is the single most important behaviour in the engine. An absent or NULL creator share renders Not stated. A real zero renders creator keeps 0%. Collapsing the two would claim a creator keeps nothing when in fact nobody read the contract.

The neighbouring rule: [] is a statement, absent is silence

An empty derivative_claims: [] means the terms were read and there are none. An absent derivative_claims means nobody checked. The filter below distinguishes them, so "show me things claiming no AI-training rights" never quietly includes unchecked things.
